Cannot Find Aol Toolbar Error

Vista Home Premium AOL on DSL I can't find a notation in event viewer under "Windows Logs". What's with the "/" s? What's up with the "%20"? Neither Google nor Yahoo recognize %20 "%20" nor ""%20"" They return hits with ONLY 20!! I used Yahoo & Google, and found no hits. Problem began out of the blue. I have a feeling I am going to learn a lot about Vista while trying to fix this problem. HTML can't process a space in an address so it's replaced with %20. None of this really helps with why you're getting this error in the first place. Unfortunately, I have no experience with AOL and can't offer specific suggestions. If I had to guess, I'd say uninstall whatever toolbar seems to be causing the problem. It didn't occur to me that IE was looking for a web page. I thought it was looking for a file name, as I thought was being indicated. Sorry for the poor grammar. I'm not familiar with the program. But it has remained and been updated, ongoing for over 2 years. You option will be tedious. Manually remove ALL the AOL entries if you can, then reinstall. I had AOL on the laptop and uninstalled any and all of it. But now when I open up Internet Explorer it displays a dialogue box saying: "Cannot find 'file:///C:/Program%20Files/AOL%Toolbar/welcome.html' make sure the path or Internet address is correct." I know why it can't find it...because i have uninstalled all of the AOL junk. What I'm wondering is what do I need to change for Internet Explorer just to
