down vote favorite This question already has an answer here: java.lang.RuntimeException Cannot find FacesContext 1 answer I've two war say eg:- hr.war and adf.war each of these war have there module related jsp/jar etc. [-]hr.war HRBook.jsp [-]adf.war ViewBook.jspx My requirement is i wanted to include a ViewBook.jspx file from adf.war into HRBook.jsp file present in hr.war. ServletContext exampleContext = application.getContext("/adf"); RequestDispatcher rd = exampleContext.getRequestDispatcher("/faces/ViewBook.jspx"); rd.include(request,response); Note:- the reason for using "/faces" on url because of servlet filter on web.xml .
