Error No. 11 with MacBook and OS X 10.5.2 Started by Jim Lawrence , 06 May 2008 - 03:04 AM Login to Reply 6 replies to this topic Jim Lawrence Members #1 Jim Lawrence 2 posts Posted 06 May 2008 - 03:04 AM Everytime I attempt to open Citrix from my new MacBook with 10.5.2, it will not launch and I get an error message indicating that ICA could not locate application server Error No. 11. Any advice would be appreciated. 1310-102236-725763 Back to top Marc Posner Members #2 Marc Posner 2 posts Posted 15 May 2008 - 06:11 PM I received an Error No. 11. Near as I can tell, the key here is the additional reporting detail. In my case it was "can't find module Smartcard."I navigated to my home directory, the Library and then Preferences. Open the "Citrix ICA Client" folder and then the file "Modules" in a text editor. I used BBEdit, but I suspect that Text Edit will work too.Everything seemed to be in Alpha order, so one line up from the bottom (just above: [SSPI]), I added a couple of line breaks and the text [Smartcard]. This appeared to create a section for the missing module "Smartcard" with no data. However, it was enough to make the error disappear.Hopefully, it will produce similar results for you. 1310-102236-728847 Back to top Brooke McQueen Members #3 Brooke McQueen 1 posts Posted 03 July

Citrix 10 requires an updated version of the launch.ica file. See Download and Unzip Citrix 10 Launch Files. Alternate Solution If you have verified that you are http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4271223 using the updated launch.ica file, and still receiving the error, complete the following steps: Move the following folder to the Trash: User home > Library > Preferences > Cirix ICA Client Check if the following folder exists. If so, move it to the Trash: Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences > Citrix ICA Client. Re-run the installer for the version 10 client. See: Citrix 10 for Macintosh - Installation Instructions Note for MacOS 10.7 users: in MacOS 10.7, your user library folder is hidden by default. You can access it by activating the Finder (click on the finder icon on your dock, or an an empty portion of your desktop), then hold down the Option key while you click on the Go menu.
