Cannot Find Server Or Dns Error Iis
Preview OS Issues Question 21 Sign in to vote I don't seem to be able to access the internet through my Lumia 620 running the Windows Phone 8.1 preview. I cannot get access using my mobile data, neither can I enable WiFi. Upon enabling the WiFi I get this error: "Can't do that at the moment; Try again in a cannot find server or dns error lumia 520 little while. If the problem continues, restart your phone and try again." I have restarted the phone and it has been getting this error since I downloaded the update at about 12:00 GMT Thanks in advance Stanleyyork11 Monday, April 14, 2014 2:12 PM Answers 3 Sign in to vote Fear not my friend, upon selecting the reset option in settings it all worked! Looks like the update doesn't trigger the WiFi and mobile data setup properly. But the reset worked! My data is safe! I went to Setting>about>reset. Everything now works! Solution Hello All I found the answer to this issue. Without doing a hard reset. I did not want to lose my data and setting. In my case the basic issue is it was using a static IP address rather than a dynamic IP address which is assigned by my home network. I did the following. Start menu >> Settings >> Wireless Controls >> Wi-Fi >> select your network >> Advanced >> change Network >> Network Adapters >> Edit tab >> Chose server -assigned IP address. Save and exit. You should now be able to access your Wi-Fi.
