Go to this "Uninstaller Link"and click on "download the windows uninstaller." Follow the prompts and completely uninstall the player and Active X. Once this is done go to download Flash Player 9 and it will install the complete version instead of the updates which have been problematic. My screen saver was set to 5 minutes, so when that didn't come on but instead the error message did, i went through my screen savers and tried to preview one of then, but when i clicked preview, the error message popped up.
