I tried to follow some step by step guides to fix the problem but the system cannot find the path for "regedit" or system restore. Here is the exact error message; "Windows cannot find *****. Please check you have typed the name correctly and try again." And... "Windows cannot find the specified file" Please note that I also encounter this error when trying to edit the user control settings. There is only one user on my computer that I am aware, and this should be the administrator user with access to all settings.
