Error Cannot Find Symbol Variable
years ago Be careful with capitalisation. IOException, not IOexception. Edit: whenever you get that error, it means the compiler doesn't recognise the type name. It could be because you haven't imported a necessary package...but it can also be because of typing errors, so always check that first.
