Make sure the clients are pointed to the DCs for DNS (assuming you are running DNS on your DCs, which you should be).Check your DNS config. Are autoupdates enabled? Are the SRV records there? Is the DC running DNS pointing to itself for name resolution? Is the DHCP client service started on the DCs running DNS? Is "register this connection..." enabled on DCs and clients?Do you have the Windows 2000 support tools installed on the DCs? You should. If I check the zone, the machine names and ip addresses are correct. The DC points to itself for the DNS. I don't know how to check for the SRV records. DCs are not running DHCP.Th

netdiag, dcdiag, and gpotool on your domain controller to see what they report. More than likely you will find something that will give you a clue. If you find any specific Event ID's that you want further information on try searching Google web and groups and use http://www.eventid.net to find further info.
