Vuze Connection Error Prudppackethandlerexception
patience with me as I try to explain my Situation. I have my trying to portfoward VUZE with my router ASUS Wireless Router RT-AC56U but it has not been successfully. Below is a list of what I have done for my portfoward. Step 1: Assign static IP address connection error prudppackethandlerexception unresolved host to PC. 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0 Step 2: I set VUZE TCP\UDP port to 61331 Step 3: I went to my router interface 192.168.1.1 and enable portfowarding Step 4: I set up the port foward rules with the following details and apply.             Service Name| Port Range| Local IP      | Local Port| Protocol             Vuze           | 61331      |192.168.1.10| 61331     | BOTH Result: Vuze is still show yellow smiley face. I did a NAT/ Server Port Test under help. For Incoming TCP Listen Port test result, I received: Testing port TCP 61331 ...                                                                           NAT Error - Connection timed out (103.252.201.218:61331). For Incoming UDP Listen Port Test result, I received: Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=5000)                                                                            Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=10000)                                                                            Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=15000)                                                                            Sending completion event                    Â

Edit Reason: Additional info posted ) Hi, In vuze connection error unresolved host vuze, torrents are always Yellow. Also NAT indicator stays Red. But Dowloads are running @ full bandwidth. I set up UPnP/NAT-PMP in Linksys E900 router with Tomato 1.28 by Shibby. (Attachment: UPnp.PNG) http://forum.vuze.com/Thread-Testing-Port-TCP-Nat-Error-Connection-Timed-Out Also in NAT/Firewall test in Vuze, the test for UDP listen port runs OK. "Testing port UDP 49668 ...   Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=5000)   Sending completion event OK !" But the test for TCP listen port is giving error: "Testing port TCP 49668 ... NAT Error - Connection timed out (106.51.129.20:49668)." Also http://forum.vuze.com/Thread-NAT-Problem--312 a separate firewall rule is created in Symantec Endpoint. I go to the ports page, leave all the connection error fields blanks, do the test and this is what comes back: Not reachable on server IP over the external port 51283, tcp protocol. Error : 110 - Connection timed out On the Vuze end, this is what is happening: When I check the incoming TCP listening port, I get this: Testing port TCP 51283 ... NAT Error - Connect vuze connection error attempt to 69.163.36.107:51283 (your computer) timed out after 20 seconds. This means your port is probably closed. When I check the Incoming UDP listening port, I get this: Testing port UDP 51283 ... Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=5000) Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=10000) Sending outbound packet and waiting for reply probe (timeout=15000) Sending completion event NAT Error. Inbound test failed, timed out. My d/l and u/l speeds are about 20% of what they should be and Vuze states I dont have any remote connections. I have read the FAQ about a dozen times. My Air VPN screen says "Protocol: tcp Port: 53" Is that relevant? Back to top Report #2 Staff Staff Advanced Member Staff 6449 posts Posted 26 February 2013 - 03:10 PM Hello! At the moment of this writing there are no forwarded ports for account "stkkts". Can you please forward a port, configure it in Vuze, and try again? Kind regards Back to top

There are a series of guides for using torrents here at Gizmo's Freeware. Vuze is one of the suggested bittorrent clients at Best Free Bittorrent Client. See also How To Use Torrents for links to the other guides, and other helful software reviews, here at Gizmo's Freeware. I assume that you already have the installer from the download link in the Best Free Bittorrent Client Review.  If you do not have Vuze, you can get it from the Vuze Home Page (32 bit version only) Sourceforge (all versions). This guide was put together using information given by the developers of bittorrent programs at their forums, guides and FAQs. There are no secret tricks, just the real basics of proper set up of a bittorrent program. Following these simple steps should result in increased download speed. These are the basic principles of optimizing a bittorrent client, like Vuze, for speed: Choose a proper port to avoid ISP blocks and conflicts with other programs Forward that port through any software firewall and router to allow incoming connections Adjust internal settings based upon upload capacity of the internet connection to allow room for outgoing communications and to distribute upload efficiently. There are some programs that claim to optimize speed in Vuze. Such programs are a scam and generally contain adware or spyware. I have seen it said, by the developers of all bittorrent programs, that nothing will increase your download speed in a bittorrent client more than the basic steps set forth herein. If you are not using Vuze, there are several other specific guides for other clients and a general guide here:Optimizing Bittorrent Clients Before starting the guide, in Vuze go to Tools>Options>Mode (Azureus>Preferences>Mode in Mac) and set to Advanced.
