Hi guys, The subject says it all. After I updated to 5.4.0.0. none of my dl is working anymore. All of them are showing the same issue: "Connection error (Network not enabled for url vuze connection error unresolved host 'blah')", where "blah" is the URL of the individual tracker (e.g. udp://open.demonii.com:1337). I did not change any of my configurations, it is not a firewall issue, since I already tried to deactivate it and my router ain't the problem either. Anyone came across that as well? Any ideas? It sounds as if somehow the 'Public' network has become disabled in your Vuze. The default enabled networks can be amended via Tools->Options->Connection - look towards the bottom (you may need to set your Mode to intermediate/advanced in the Mode section) Existing torrents will need fixing by right-clicking on them (multi-select if required) and selecting the Advanced->Networks menu option Find darkeyce Fresh Torrenter Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Joined: Aug 2014 Reputation: 0 #4 08-18-2014, 10:57 PM (This post was last modified: 08-19-2014, 06:27 AM by darkeyce.) I'm seeing the same behavior. This has nothing to do with Public networks. I've never used them and since the 5.4.0.0 update i have the offline - connection error(network not enabled). Is there a way to rollback to the previous version? Update: I installed 5.3.0.0 over the 5.4.0.0 version. Problem still exists however, i was able to get torrents to process by added public netwo

Nat Error Vuze
Vuze?[edit] Ports are just logical addresses inside your computer's TCP/IP networking functionality. From vuze connection error prudppackethandlerexception unresolved host technological perspective there is no difference between ports, so you can select any port which is not already used vuze connection error prudppackethandlerexception mac by something else and then you need to configure your firewall and router accordingly. Vuze needs only one port for the main data transfer functionality. Choose a port from the 49160-65534 range. http://forum.vuze.com/Thread-After-Update-to-5-4-0-0-Connection-error-Network-not-enabled-for-url-xyz If you really need to choose a port within the range 1024-49151 make sure you pick an "unassigned" port listed at the IANA port list and which is not already in use by some other application in your computer. Go to Options > Connection and input the new TCP and UDP listening port that you have chosen. Save the changed options. Go into your https://wiki.vuze.com/w/Select_port_for_Vuze software firewall configuration and make sure that Vuze is allowed outgoing and incoming connections (and if there is such an option, enable Vuze to act as a server). Possibly the firewall is only configured for applications, but it might also require port-specific configuration. Go into your router configuration, if any, and forward the port you have chosen using the methods as described in NAT problem and Port forwarding. Remember to forward that port not only for TCP but also for UDP protocol, DHT needs that! (If your router is using UPnP, it should update automatically. Note: When using a port above 49152, you always run to a risk that some other program has randomly grabbed that port before you start Vuze. For example, with Vista and Windows7 the operating system itself usually grabs ports 49152-49158 at boot, so you can't use those ports. For Windows 8.1, the operating system seems to grab ports throughout the entire numerical range. In Windows environment, you can check which ports are currently in use (already reserved by some program) from CMD commandline prompt with the command NETSTAT -A . Or use the command NETS
