Hi guys, The subject says it all. After I updated to 5.4.0.0. none of my dl is working anymore. All of them are showing the same issue: "Connection error (Network not enabled

I did not change any of my configurations, it is not a firewall issue, since I already tried to deactivate it and my router ain't the problem either. Anyone came across that as well? Any ideas? It sounds as if somehow the 'Public' network has become disabled in your Vuze. The default enabled networks can be amended via Tools->Options->Connection - look towards the bottom (you may need to set your Mode to intermediate/advanced in the Mode section) Existing torrents will need fixing by right-clicking on them (multi-select if required) and selecting the Advanced->Networks menu option Find darkeyce Fresh Torrenter Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Joined: Aug 2014 Reputation: 0 #4 08-18-2014, 10:57 PM (This post was last modified: 08-19-2014, 06:27 AM by darkeyce.) I'm seeing the same behavior. This has nothing to do with Public networks. I've never used them and since the 5.4.0.0 update i have the offline - connection error(network not enabled). Is there a way to rollback to the previous version? Update: I installed 5.3.0.0 over the 5.4.0.0 version. Problem still exists however, i was able to get torrents
I couldn't find it, sorry. I use azereus to download, and am completely successful at every other torrent site. On this site however, I always get a time out error. I have tried using numerous tracker error deluge clients, called my isp and they don't block 6969. I know for sure my ports

I am using windows xp SP2, and I know my ports are open because in Azureus when downloading http://forum.vuze.com/Thread-After-Update-to-5-4-0-0-Connection-error-Network-not-enabled-for-url-xyz from a different torrent site I get all green smile faces. If the ports are closed you can only get yellow smile faces. U2Lynne2005-02-15, 10:22 AMAnd you just let the client sit and try to connect for several minutes even though you get the connection error? From filesoup's FAQ (http://www.filesoup.com/faq/index.php?sid=320225&aktion=anzeigen&rubrik=014&seite=1): BitTorrent Error Messages: What is error 10060 Connection timed out, and how do I fix it? This means that you sent a request to a http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-3769.html peer or tracker, and there was no response. Again this error generally sorts itself out given time, and can be caused by a busy tracker. If the problem is persisting double-check to make sure your torrent is seeded and the tracker is working. or from Brian's BT FAQ (http://btfaq.com/serve/cache/35.html): Problem connecting to tracker - timeout exceeded Problem connecting to tracker - HTTP Error 503: Connect failed Problem connecting to tracker - [Errno socket error] (10061, "Connection refused") Problem connecting to tracker - (111, 'Connection refused') There was a problem contacting the tracker. Trackers tend to be heavily loaded, and connections sometimes fail. The best thing to do is just be patient and leave the client open. If you find you're getting this a lot, you can try increasing the HTTP request timeout by adding the parameter "--http_timeout 120" (the default is 60, unit is seconds.) See the FAQ section (Xref) How do I change the command line parameters in Windows? if you need help doing this. I'm not sure which of those errors fits what you are seeing. stlphishhead2005-02-15, 10:35 AMI have let the client try to connect for several hours at a time and just keep getting "Connection Error (timeout)". Earlier it was fine and i was able to download the torrents without any https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=124178 problems. But now i am getting this message. I have tried resetting the pass key as well. But its still the same. In other words if you're having the same timeout with other trackers it could indicate a problem with your internet connection.Otherwise just leave it alone, that just means the tracker is under load. It will clear itself up eventually. Don't hammer the tracker with update requests (note: I'm not vuze connection error implying you are). Logged Teroxgt Member Posts: 5 Re: Connection error(timeout) « Reply #2 on: December 16, 2008, 03:27:09 am » yea, this is only occurring with Box Torrent tracker. All other torrents work fine with no problems and i am able to connect to the peers. My Nat is showing OK. I checked it again this morning to see if BoxT has cleared or not and it was still the same with the connection error(timeout) thing. I had left it for a good 8 hours.... Tried doing the whole restart modem, router, pc deal? Flush and restart, see if that helps. Also, do you have any ip filters running? Either on the computer, or also in the router. « Last Edit: December 16, 2008, 03:35:18 am by Slykester » Logged fuddle36767 Member Posts: 654 Re: Connection error(timeout) « Reply #4 on: December 16, 2008, 04:24:17 am » With Vuze (I almost said Azureus), if the torrent has been swapped, and the torrent is in 'Queued' status (that means it's scraping, not actually tracking), you can get that error. If this is the problem, to fix

However, it's still a learning experience, and I learn the most when things break. I'm in luck...something has broken big time...I can't seem to get any connection with any torrent client. I've tried Deluge and Transmission, which always worked, no problem. I noticed this shortly after the 'networking' deamon went depricated. All ports are properly opened up, and nothing else has changed.I can post output of any commands that the gurus feel would be informative and I thank you all in advance for taking the time to help me learn and fix this thing at the same time!Best,--D Offline #2 2011-08-10 07:45:05 stqn Member Registered: 2010-03-19 Posts: 1,189 Website Re: "Connection error" with all torrent clients What's the exact error/symptoms? Does it happen with different torrents/trackers? However, torrent files never seems to get started. They're idle and at 0.0% until they finally time-out.Again, I suspect it's something on my end, since I just switched ISP's an
