Oct 29, 2003 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 Error 25: A critical error diablo 2 error 25 windows 7 has occurred while initializing Direct3D I played D2:LoD last night, but today I get this error. Googling didn't turn up any useful info though, running
Diablo 2 Error 22
videotest again finds no graphics cards at all, reinstalling video drivers doesn't solve it either. Anyone have this problem suddenly pop up, perhaps an automatic windows update has broken something? fxer, Mar 17, 2007 #1 hacefrio IncGamers Member Joined: diablo 2 error 25 fix Feb 21, 2007 Messages: 19 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 Reinstall/download newest version of DirectX hacefrio, Mar 17, 2007 #2 ffejrxx IncGamers Member Joined: Nov 26, 2005 Messages: 6,282 Likes Received: 10 Trophy Points: 166 run dxdiag and make sure d3d and ddraw are enabled and it can run the tests on the display tab ffejrxx, Mar 17, 2007 #3 fxer IncGamers Member Joined: Oct 29, 2003 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 Looks like "DirectDraw error 25 direct3d Acceleration" is "Not Available" for some reason now, Direct3D Acceleration is enabled though. All the DirectDraw tests pass when I run the test though, wonder why it is not available. I get an error when running the Direct3D Acceleration test, "Direct3D 7 test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x8007000e (Out of memory)" but then dxdiag says all Direct3D tests passed, hmm fxer, Mar 17, 2007 #4 kylerangers IncGamers Member Joined: Nov 15, 2007 Messages: 1 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 same thing happened 2 me but im non lod iv looked on google 4 ages but nothing pls help kylerangers, Dec 9, 2007 #5 Ashhot IncGamers Member Joined: Dec 13, 2007 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 Are you receiving a message saying: (Any error that occurs when starting the game) (PC) error 1: Diablo II is unable to proceed.
