The lady said the tech prior left with it that way, saying it was her TV. I speculated the same conclusion until I installed the Hopper on that TV. It did not display the HDCP error, at least, at the time of install. __________________ Dish FSS3, Dishnet, DishCoach AT:E package, 5 star-DishScriber, 1Hopper2000/1joey, .4EA Amd Phenom II x4 810 (2.6Ghz) w/ ThermalTake SpinQ v1 (blue) Asus M4A78T-e 4x2GB G.Skill DDR3 1333Mhz (PC3 10600 8GB total) HIS IceQ HD7870 Ghz Edition Crucial MX100 250GB Boot Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB 7200rpm Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200rpm AzzA Solano Black 05-23-2014, 11:31 AM #5 Ray C@DISH High Definition is the definition of life. For some reason I'm not able to get a few channels on my Dish Network that seem to come from satellite 119, transponder 02. (i.e. Bravo 129, ABCF 18). when I tune in to those channels, it starts to show the program info on the top but then I receive an "ATTENTION 015" pop-up followed by an "ERROR 002" message. It shows channel 129, satelite 119, transponder 2 and continues to cycle through each of these. I ran the check switch test and it showed no errors. It then downloaded the program guide. I also tried the soft reset via the power button, then unplugged the receiver for 20 seconds and tried again. After everything, it still doesn't seem to work. I called Dish and of course they want me to place a service call but I can undertand why most channels work but not these couple. I ran the signal test on 119 and get a signal strength in the mid-60's for transponder 11 but no signal whatsoever on 02. Can any

LKUnregistered guest Posted on Saturday, February 12, 2005 - 04:11 GMTShould read before U ask...read the thread here titiled "Dishnet and Bev Info"...U would have/will see this post there by me.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To fix your receiver from the recent ECM: 1. connect JTAG to receiver. 2. open up Jkeys2.99. 3. enter flash programming 4. On the full line select the down arrow and select the SA address for your model. 5. Make sure the SA address is displayed and then select erase, you get a verification popup asking if you want to erase theis sector. 6. Place receiver in the stream, without the smart card. The unit will flash the power light a feww times then go solid, don't worry about a picture at this point, you won't get one. 7. When the update is complete, the receiver will be displaying the system information screen, now verify the loacation ID has changed to some thing other than 000001.Also verify the software version has the -N and Not the -F, if it's a dash F, then more work is required. The eeprom is corrupt and requires rewriting. 8. If all the info is correct, place smartcard in it and Watch tv. 2700 = address SA5 (512 k tsop) 2800 = address SA5 (512 k tsop) 3700 = address SA5 (512 k tsop) 3800 = address SA30 (2 meg tsop) 3900 = address SA30 (2 meg tsop) 4700 = address SA30
