done it. I rip the DVD with DVD Decrypter to my hard drive which leaves it compressed which exceeds 4.7GB, so after ripping I run it through DVD Shrink in full disc and not re-author and use automatic compression and than backup and http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/forum/helproom-1/dvd-shrink-out-memory-error-202215/ burn with ImgBurn to 4.7GB SL DVDs. This time when compressing with DVD Shrink it goes down to 5 minutes remaining and gives an error. The name of the DVD is Deadwood Season 1 Disc 2. How do I fix this error? 05-08-2014 #2 thor21344 MyCE Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Orlando Fl Posts: 442 I do not know anything about DVD Shrink, but a lot of programs require at least double the free space on a HDD to work, it http://club.myce.com/f34/out-memory-not-enough-storage-dvd-shrink-336748/ uses a temp storage space and then the regular space to write the files, then will delete the temp storage after the final write. Try the trial of AnyDVD or DVDFab You can use DVDFab after the trial as a decrypter it just won't compress the DVD. There is also the free DVDFab Passkey Lite. It just won't do new releases so you have to wait for 60 days or so & update it. Another reason :Out of memory is a problem caused by sectors on a disc designed to cause an out of memory problem when ripping. If it isn't the decryption then the comm

When I open the files, I get an error message stating: "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Out of memory. Not enough storage available to process this command." I used DVD Shrink a couple of times and this is the first time I ever encountered this error. My system has 2GB of RAM and dvd shrink my 146GB harddrive still has 56.6GB of space left. I also don't have any other applications on. I even used FixVTS and I still can't get it fixed.Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Re: DVD Shrink 3.2: Getting "Out of Memory" Error « Reply #1 on: March 01, 2007, 10:55:53 PM » Is your big hard drive a "D:" drive? If so, it's possible that, at some point, the place the out of memory program stores temp files might have gotten switched to "C:" drive (I know my C drive wouldn't have the space). Also, if the "out of memory" message is referring to RAM, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL to see what processes are running. In this same vein, when was the last time you scanned for adware and malware? Logged "All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. In my case it was because I had a bad stick of RAM. Once I removed it from my computer, DVD Shrink worked fine.Basically whats happening is DVD Shink is trying to access a memory address on the RAM chip that is corrupt, and once it does that it spits back your error message.
