Then burn the ISO IMAGE with DECRYPTER. you can choose that preference in dvdshrink. Dvd Shrink Encountered An Error And Cannot Continue Out Of Memory
Registered User Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: TXXX Posts: 59 *burn error* (dvd shrink) need help... ugh! problem after problem, now I have a new one. I'm getting this message... I http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/214333-dvd-shrink-comes-up-with-write-error-when-burning was trying to burn the movie *Jarhead* I think it stopped at the 40% mark... anyone know why it's doing this? I don't think it's the movie cos I've tried 2 in a row (diff movies) and I don't think it's the DVD-R's, cos these always work (Memorex 16X Sony) could it be a hardware prob? I hope not... There a LOT of text on the burn http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=108355 error, I saved it.. if anyone knows what it means, I can paste it... I have no idea Last edited by Sinfulcurves_RPG-7; 8th March 2006 at 10:09. You may also want to edit your Nero serial number out of the first line of your log post. CWR03 View Public Profile Find More Posts by CWR03 8th March 2006, 21:00 #5 |Link setarip_

Hey everyone, I've been a long time user of the "DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink combo" and just recently started having problems burning DVDs through DVD Shrink. I've attempted creating an ISO and burning that, but have experienced the same problem. On average, I'm having to make 2 to 3 attempts to burn a given DVD dvd shrink -- usually I'll have the program go straight to burning after encoding and if I get a burn error, I attempt to burn it another time using the encoded files, but sometimes this fails, too. My DVD writer is a Memorex DVD16+/-DL4RWlD2 and I most often use Verbatim or Sony DVD+R media. Hopefully someone out there can help me. I've also included the error log below. Also, (I don't know if this makes dvd shrink error matters) I have DVD43 running in the back at all times. I don't believe I've ever heard of it affecting the encoding or burning process before, but please let me know if I should be closing this program while running DVD Shrink. Thanks in advance! If there is a problem with the transfer and the data does not match on both sides, then a cyclic redundancy check error will occur. This can happen in Windows while reading a disc or in any number of programs, including DVD Shrink. Possible causes include a scratched or damaged disc, a faulty optical drive, or the result of trying to back up a copy-protected disc.Things You'll NeedComputer with burn-capable optical driveDVD Shrink softwareDVD to be copiedDisc cleaning kit (optional)Water or rubbing alcohol (optional)Cotton shirt (optional)Step 1Rule out the optical drive (the DVD player on the computer) as the cause of the error by attempting to read other discs with the drive. If you're successful, the drive can be ruled out as the cause of the CRC error, leaving the disc as the culprit. The disc could be scratched or damaged, or it could've had copy protection against duplication written into it when it was burned. If the optical drive fails to read other discs, then there is likely some problem with the drive itself.Step 2Rule out the surface quality of the disc to be backed up. Even if it looks fine, check to make sure it plays or reads normally outside of DVD Shrink. The DVD could have been incorrectly burned. This happens often with cheaper CD and DVD media; it is rather rare with commercial DVDs. If you can rule out the surface quality of the DVD as a cause for the error, go to step 4. If not, see step 3 for information on attempting to clean the disc.Step 3Clean the faulty disc. It is possible for any amount of scratching, grime or residue to cause read errors. Use a disc cleaning kit, or use water or alcohol and a piece of cotton shirt. Make sure that you wipe against the
