Dvd Shrink Error Cannot Connect Trf
Solution to 'Error:\ n Cannot connect TRF' - between Nero 6.6.1.4 and DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 Discussion in 'DVD Shrink forum' started by KraZvideo, Apr 4, 2006. The burn then fails. I have been able to then go to Nero Burning Rom and burn the files using DVD-Video format, but why is this error coming up? What do I need to do? Uninstall DVD-Fab Decrypter and DVD Shrink and Reinstall? Thanks as always. If you want to continue using shrink to autoburn with nero, then.. Write down your nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.1.4 from your system using the general cleantool found here: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go. nero version 6.6.0.18 updates: Package 1 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe If you want to keep version 6.6.1.4, then you'll need to burn manually. That makes sense, since I did upgrade the software before my last attempt. I suppose I'll keep the lateste for now. I am getting a new computer Thrusday and will probably downgrade after that, but I'll keep your info on a hard copy until then and I'll follow your instructions. I suppose when uding the DVD-video format with burning rom/manually it still delivers a good copy. I've attempted 2 so far and both played fine on my play

Sorry. Yes it was with DVDshrink. I have never had problems with this before using the exact same set up. 10-05-2006 #4 TimC MyCE Resident Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: UK Posts: 7,496 Re: What does cannot connect TRF mean? You've updated Nero to 6.6.1.4 or early versions of V7 I assume. If this is the case then what happened is that the Nero dll file that Shrink would call was removed http://club.myce.com/f48/what-does-cannot-connect-trf-mean-179521/ by the update so it now fails. There is a modded version of DVD Shrink that works with these but I can't find it here as the search function doesn't appear to function. You can obviously not select burn with Nero, but save the files to a folder & burn separately with Nero. 10-05-2006 #5 rapid fire MyCE Resident Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 2,117 Re: What does cannot connect TRF mean? Nero to burn. When I click on backup, it does show my plextor dvdr on the target device, but does not show anything in the dropdown box as in the instructions downloaded from the dvd guides site. They show the headings "Burn with Nero", "Create ISO image file", and "Create DVD Files". Despite this, the encoding takes place, and after the encoding finishes, instead of a burn the dvd dialog box I get an error box. It reads...
