Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue The specified folder is invalid The system cannot find dvd shrink error the path specified. I even put in a movie that I had copied before and still got that message. Can anyone help me please. layer3maniac8th December 2007, 00:27Check your path in "Select target image file:" when you click "Backup", sounds like maybe you had it set to a directory you later deleted. vBulletin v3.8.9, Copyright ©2000-2016, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.

I've ripped a few discs and when I've gone to load them into applications to clean away the menus, special features etc... prior to encoding for ATV I'm getting error messages. Roxio Popcorn is displaying 'The source VIDEO_TS folder appears to be damaged." whilst DVD Shrink in XP gives me "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot contine. Invalid data in file .....VIDEO_TS.VOB" The files simply crash Handbrake. The files play fine via DVD Player and Turbo.264 can open/encode them so any ideas what's causing the strange behaviours? Wouldn't you be better off asking this question in the Windows section as it's a Windows App? Never heard of it and can't find any reason why I'd want to use anything other than DVD Decrypter when it does the job. alanrob, Jan 20, 2009 Jan 20, 2009 at 1:42 PM Tenex, Jan 20, 2009 #4 Tenex Well-known Member Joined: Mar 2, 2003 Messages: 7,631 Products Owned: 0 Products Wanted: 0 Trophy Points: 136 Ratings: +1,066 This app was reviewed on the MacReviewCast #193 and ISTR some comment about the file format here's the text of the review.
