I looked at the properties on every file in the folder and they are ALL .vob so I don't understand why it's telling me it can't open the .ifo if there isn't one in there. I searched for "video_ts.ifo" on my computer and the ones that come up are in a totally different folder. Help? Because it opens DVDs. Without the IFOs it's not a DVD. Quote 11th Jun 201023:02 #5 tomlee59 View Profi

It may be easier and faster with DVD Shrink. Open DVD Shrink Click Reauthor Mode Click on "DVD Browser" tab and browse to your folder Drag your Title into compilation window Backup Sorry, just got home from work and I didn't think about this.

The file is in the original DVD but not in the ripper folder after AnyDVD's ripper gets done with it. In the original DVD, there are 3 Video_TS files. VIDEO_TS.IFO VIDEO_TS.BUP VIDEO_TS.VOB In the folder where the AnyDVD ripped files are, there are just 2. VIDEO_TS.IFO VIDEO_TS.BUP Funny thing is, Recode 2 will process the files in the ripper folder fine without that VIDEO_TS.VOB file but DVD Shrink cannot. Anyone else had this experience? What the hell is the VIDEO_TS.VOB file anyway and why does DVD Shrink need it and Recode doesn't? And why is the AnyDVD ripper leaving it out? __________________ I7 3770 @ 4.4 gig (Noctua NH-U14S Heatsink), ASRock Z77 Extreme6, 16 (2x8) Gigs Corsair DDR3 1600, EVGA GTX 680 Signature 2, Acer P236H 23" (1920x1080), X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Pro, Crucial M500 120 GB SSD, WD 2 TB Black HDD, WD 1 TB Black HDD, WD 2 TB Black HDD (e-sata), 2 DVD Burners, Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Speaker System, Corsair TX750w PSU, HSPC Top Deck Tech Station, Windows 7 Pro x64 06-04-2006 #2 SlySoft SlySoft Team Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 993 Re: DVD Shrink can't find VIDEO_TS.VOB Quote: Originally Posted by Mike89 I have had this happen with a few movies now where using AnyDVD rip to hard drive function and then trying to process with DVD Shrink the error, "Cannot find the file VIDEO_TS.VOB".
