copy protection and I'm using DVD Shrink to rip and compress. When I try to open the file in DVD Shrink, I get an error message saying: DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read file "D:\" Usually, I would think this was due to a dirty or scratched disc or maybe my DVD drive is dirty, but I have tried it in the same dvd shrink failed to open file video_ts ifo old DVD drive and also in my brand new external burner. Has anybody else had this problem? You can do movie only w/ Recode and AnyDVD. Try CloneDVD - AnyDVD companion - not free but has a 21 day free trial. I burned disc 1 without problem.
