Unfortunately no antivirus is 100% guaranteed to stop everything out there. be careful what you click on and what you download etc. etc. and always keep Windows totally up to date uncluding any components of it that you may not use.Moved this to Malware Discussion.Spybot is not recommended to be used when McAfee is also on the machine, see this link under '3rd Party Tools': https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-2168In this case I recommend your run DDS and post the log as recommended:Download DDS: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/ddsPost the log here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum22.htmlIf you want to try something while waiting for them to answer I recommend Malwarebytes Free - see the 1st link I posted. A scan with Spybot Search and Destroy this week found Smitfraud-c.generic, and a scan with TDSSKiller found Rootkit.Boot.Pihar.b. Both were supposedly removed by those programs. However, I'm also running Mcafee - which failed to find that malware. Now, Mcafee's firewall will not stay activated. When I try to start the service, I get a msg that says: error 1075: the dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. Now I don't know if my system has been fully cleaned. Here are the DDS logs. I also have a HijackThis log and TDSS logs if necessary.
