(John_Coy) Feb 9, https://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/329117.html 2008 12:33 PM Why do I continually get this error. Is this GetPlus method of dowloading causing it? I never had such problems with an installation of Acrobat Reader before. I have edited my registry, removed all shreds of previous installations, turned off virus software and other security, it's not in my Control Panel "Add/Remove Software"... this has taken me hours and https://forums.adobe.com/thread/393010 I get noplace. Even checked my file permissions... all looks good. Here's the actual message: Error 1304.Error writing to file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Help\en_US\Adobe Reader\8.0\WS660EA2E2-80B-40fd-AB17-A65B88A1F672.html A bug? Anyone else getting this? Thanks. 1127Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 2 replies 1. Re: Error 1304.Error writing to file -- can't install Adobe Reader! I ended up reinstalling version 7 and I hope Adobe will do something about this. Very frustrating.
