Microsoft Office > Office error 1303 windows 10 2010 - IT Pro General Discussions Question 0 Sign in to vote I tried to install Office error 1303 bluestacks 2010 Professional x86 on Windows 7 Ultimate x86. I tried dozens of times to take ownership of the folder, with no success for a very long time. I finally got it to work, and now I'm getting a very generic error. an error during setup, but it doesn't specify what error. There's not even a code. I created a new administrator account, and it gets the first error again. I keep getting some error that I can't resolve that states: "Error 1303. Setup cannot access the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\EQUATION. Verify that the folder exists in your system and that you have sufficient permissions to update it. " I've gone into Microsoft Shared, and attempted to adjust ownership of the EQUATION folder, but it always says access denied, no matter who I try to pass ownership to. I've also looked extensively online for a possible answer, and have not found a single one that fixes my issues. Not only that, but I'm also not very computer savvy at all, so things would best be explained to me like a child. Thanks for looking, and possibly answering! Update: I tried the ownership usurping programs, but it won't seem to give me access to EQUATION at all. Follow 1 answer 1 Report Abuse Are you sure you want to delete this answer?
