(not necessarily in that order) Posted 06 April 2005 - 09:43 AM Well this is slightly odd. You see mso9.dll is part of Office 2000 professional. Specifically it is the data registration module. So it sounds like the version of Project that you've got is trying to check that you've got a registered copy of Office 2000 installed. Which of course you haven't because you've got 2003. Now why it should try and do that I don't know because Project is usually a stand alone product. Unless you know anything about the version of Project that you've got which means that makes sense. I should mention I am running a registered version of MS Office 2003 and the MS09.DLL file does exist in the \Office directory....I updated Office 2003 from the MS site but that hasnt rectified the problem....any further thoughts?? I can find lots of instances of it causing problems with Office applications but not with Project. I confess that I'm beat on this one. Sorry. Listened for he can
