4mebrower Members 2 posts OFFLINE Local time:05:38 AM Posted 29 October 2014 - 09:57 AM Help! I am trying to install Office 2013 to a Win 7 machine, 32 bit. I've asked for help in the Microsoft forums, but no luck so far. I am trying to install Office from a flashdrive, and was successful with 19 machines our of 21. The last two machines are killing me! The machines have been wiped clean of any Office files. I copy the office installation file to the machine desktop, open the folder and locate the executable file to start the installation. It appears that the installation is going smoothly for awhile, then I get the following error message: Error 1305, Setup cannot read file C:\Windows\assembly\GAC\Microsoft.mshtml\7.03300.0_b03f5f7f11d50a3a\Microsoft.mshtml.dll. Check your network connection or, if you are installing from CD-ROM, be sure that the Professional Plus 2013 CD-ROM is in the drive. Click Retry to continue or Cancel to stop the installation. Microsoft recommended installing the files to a drive, and installing from a clean boot. I dragged the files to the C drive, did the Clean Boot, and received the error message that I posted above. Very frustrated with these machines. I am hoping that someon

4.1.3 to install on windows 7 edit error-1305 windows-7 installation common libreoffice-4.1.3 asked 2013-11-16 04:01:42 +0200 Matt7 16 ●1 ●1 ●1 updated 2015-11-06 04:26:42 +0200 Alex Kemp 10154 ●13 ●35 ●34 http://etmg.altervista... I've downloaded the installer package several times using up much of my bandwidth. Each time I try to install the Libreoffice 4.1.3 I get an error message: "error 1305.Error reading from file LibreOffice_4.1.3_Win_x86.msi Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." I've been doing some searching and found the recommendation to uninstall older versions. The latest one I had on this machine was LibreOffice 3.3. Perhaps foolishly I followed that recommendation and uninstalled the older version but still can get the new one to install. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. edit retag flag offensive close merge delete add a comment 3 answers Sort by » oldest newest most voted 0 answered 2013-11-16 04:38:22 +0200 Matt7 16 ●1 ●1 ●1 Something about the error message finally started me thinking the problem might lie in the location of the folder. On a whim I moved the installer file from the "Downloads" folder to my personal folder under "Users". The next attempt to install worked without hesitation. I suppose the problem must have been with "permissions" or some similar issue. edit flag offensive delete link more add a comment 0 answered 2013-11-16 14:59:30 +0200 L-user 2837 ●33 ●45 ●62 MSI 1305 is "file read problem", one of the most common is a file/folder permissions. Moving file to another location can help. More info: http://richardsleegers.blogspot.com/2006/04/error-1305-error-reading-from-file-msi.html edit flag offensive delete link more CommentsThanks!! Having spent a lot of time trying out other solutions w/o luck, this solved the problem. However, I find it curious that after downloading (repeatedly) to the \Downloads folder there was no option in right-clicking to run as admin. Please insert
