The BOXI installer works on Windows x64. On Windows 2008 R2 the http://forum.servicedeskusers.com/index.php?/forums/topic/11582-resolved-install-boxi-client-tools-on-win-7-64-bit/ whole range of applications work - from server side apps to client tools, on Windows 7 I installed the WebI rich client and didn't have any problems. Which OS/client tools are you trying to install ? What is the error you're getting ?
 jfrageme02 0 Level 4 Contributor Members 0 74 posts Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) I get the error show in the attached files, when I wanted to install BOXI 3.1 Client tools. “error 1904.module failed to register E: Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\importent6.dll files HRESULT -1073740791” But I already resolved the issue, I continue with the installation and then manually register the DLL's after the install. You can search the SAP KB for the following document that describes a similar situation: 1205687 - "Error 1904" during installation of Client tools BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2 Thanks, Edited October 17, 2012 by jfra02
 shafqatparacha 0 Newbie Members 0 1 post Posted June 28, 2013 I was facing the same issue. The issue is resolved if you login with local administrator account.
 smartmokh 0 Level 2 Contributor Members 0 14 pos
