We receive Error 1904. Setup cannot register module C:\Windows\system32\FM20.DLL. If you click 'Cancel' or 'Ignore', run Setup again and re-install or repair your Office installation. If problem persists, contact your Information Technology department for assistance. I tried to register it manualy as well and recieved an error stating The module "FM20.DLL" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801c. I found the following artice on the intranet with the same problem and followed the instuction but it still produced the error: http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/29997120/solved-the-module-fm20.aspx Any help would be greatly appreciated. 0 Question by:georgedschneider Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Active 6 days ago Best Solution bygeorgedschneider Ran the installation again to reapir resolved the issue. The 32 bit clients all work fine. Not one of the x64 clients has installed successfully using the image created by the IM, they always fail at around 30% with internal error 1903 - and I've given up trying to diagnose that problem. If error 1904 setup I manually run the setup.exe in the Solidworks\x64 folder then it at least runs through the installation although it brings up an error near the end: "Product: SolidWorks 2011 x64 Edition SP02 -- Error 1904.Module C:\Windows\SysWOW64\FM20.DLL failed to register. HRESULT -2147319780. Contact your support personnel."If I chose to ignore this error Solidworks 2011 is installed, warns it may be incomplete!I can't install the 32bit version on the x64 clients as the installer tells me that the version is incompatible which I suppose is technically correct although I'd settle for a working 32bit installation on the 64 bit machines! Is there any way I can get this software to install the 64 bit version! It should not be this difficult to get installed.

I assume it cannot handle a proxy so I'm stuck now!Time to dig out the 2010 DVD and put on the last version that worked.document explains how to fix Microsoft Windows error code 0x8002801c if it is not working properly or throwing an error while installing, updating or upgrading Windows.
