work site. My Mac Pro is connected to my Airport Extreme router via an Ethernet cable. My laptop connects wirelessly. Randomly (and this has occurred in the past), I cant connect when using my desktop. If I try my Cisco VPN program, it just repeatedly says "not connected" at the bottom of the screen, or sometimes "(backup)". I'm trying to send a simple packet to an MMO just saying hello in the text box. My first problem seems to be I don't have any "Send" packets when I record my packets even though Im talking in the chat bar, However I do have SendTo packets if that helps. I rightclick https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2268793?tstart=0 on a simple sendto packet and try to send it, I get Packet(s) error with every packet I send. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Correct socket id? I just right clicked on a packet and chose send. Shouldn't that work? Every packet I send gets an error. After error 28 the chunks were fixed, the world played smoothly for a few days but now it won't even open. When i try to open the world, the "loading world" and "building terrain" appears on the screen but then it just reverts back to the Main Menu. This keeps happening without fail until i get the "sending packet" error: "Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered error 28 sending a problem; Sending packet" I have been trying so hard to get this world back. We've put so much time into it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
