Suggestions 62 General Error 5 Aborted at removing components shanef Posts: 1 April 2015 in Questions and Reports Every time I attempt to apply changes to an image the tasks will all be completed until it reaches removals. It will stop and give Error 5 aborted at removals. If I attempt to run the tasks again it will throw the same message. It happens at different components every time but will not finish. I've tried different configurations, but the same thing occurs. The last time it actually worked for me was in version 1.0.0.2525. Reverting back to that version causes other issues like the Setup failing when trying to install that Windows image. I have attached the log file.Thank you for any assistance you can provide. NTLite.log 31.7K Comments nuhi Posts: 2,154 April 2015 Hi shanef,Thanks for the report.Do you have some active antivirus or similar tool in the background that might be doing it?One user reported error 5 on load image, and turning the antivirus off solved it.I know that's not perfect, and I would like to avoid it, but I need a repeatable scenario on my side first. The issue you found could be a different one.The attached log is from the restarted tool which overwrote the actual logged issue. Please attach the ntlite.log at the moment of the error (or if you accidentally run the tool again, the previous log is in ntlite.log.bak file).
