HEM until today but now I am unable to start the postgreSQL server. I would set the different parts of postgreSQL to start as admin but I was not sure what parts I should try. Reply With Quote 06-09-2010,02:26 PM #2 mrhobbeys Senior Member Join Date Sep 2008 Posts 143 Sorry I should have noted the following: Win 7 64x HEM 1.11.01b PostgreSQL 8.4 When trying to open pgAdmin III: "Server doesn't listen The server doesn't accept connections: windows 10 services access denied the connection library reports could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?" When trying Start Server: "System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied." The results are the same when I disable the firewall, and after restarting the computer twice.
