You should http://forums.enterprisedb.com/posts/list/1591.page be able to login using the SQL Shell option or pgAdmin. I suspect the reason you get Access Denied from the Start Server option is due to Vista's security model. You should probably right-click it and use the 'Run as Administrator' option. 14 Jan 2009 12:53:46 Subject: Re:Server cant start but installation was success lola_h New member Joined: 14 Jan 2009 09:47:11 Messages: 4 Offline It really shows that im extremely new in this..learning one at a time.. 14 Jan 2009 14:04:41 Subject: Re:Server cant start but installation was success Dave_P Senior member Joined: 26 Sep 2005 12:09:59 Messages: 160 Offline lola_h wrote:It really shows that im extremely new in this..learning one at a time.. Can anyone help me out so that I may retain my current password, please? It expires in 2 days and this is the millionth time I've had to change it and I'm running out of memory in my head to handle any more. Thanks for your help!
