If it opens in Reader 5 then use Reader 5. If you received the PDF by email then ask the sender to Zip the PDF before sending it as PDFs can become damaged in transit. Also, check the producer of the PDF, File > Doent Properties. It may be that the PDF was not produced using Adobe software and as such it may fall short of the standards required of Reader 6.
