Ever since this change the have been 5 services that haven't been starting; Task Scheduler Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Microsoft Exchange Routing Engine Microsoft Exchange POP3 Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks The change in IP was done 4 days ago, at that time I changed all the access rules on the firewall by replacing the old IP address with the new one for the front end server, and I changed the DNS entry on our back end server to point to the new address. The backend server also acts as our internal DNS server, the front end server is also pointing to the backend server for dns. After 2 days of waiting for the MX records to be updated (and constantly checking), the pop3.domainname.com and smtp.domainname.com were pointing to the new address, but mail.domainname.com was still pointing at the old address. A call to the local ISP and early this morning the change seems to be in place. RPC and the RPC locator
