Unforunitly we are on another network were it seems some features are being blocked. I am unable to browse to the Software List or the System Tab without receiving an error like the following: Cannot connect to registry of "\\PC-NAME" Thanks ahead of time Reply With Quote 04-30-2010,10:17 AM #2 cmccullough View Profile View Forum Posts Visit Homepage View Articles Senior Member Join Date Sep 2000 Location San Antonio, Texas, USA Posts 6,268 Re: Cannot connect to registry of "\\PC-NAME" The first thing to check would be that the Remote Registry service is running on those computers. If it is, then it could be a resolution issue where the remote computer can't be found. So far I have: 1. Turned on the remote reg service on both servers 2. verified “File and Print Sharing” was enabled. We have 2 NIC’s teamed (NIC #1, NIC#2, NIC Team). I can only enable on #1 or #2 I left it on #1 3. Verified domain/administrator has full control over the following reg key – HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurePipeServers and that this propagated down to all child folders. 4. Verified remote access is on via Properties of My Computer --> Remote Tab --> Enable RDP. Not sure what else it could be. I able to connect to other server registries from the source server, I have tried to connect to the same destination server from other servers and workstations and I get the same result.
