My iPod CD, when trying to install from it, does the following: It appears to install just fine (the iPod is formatted, it asks where to install thing, etc), then at the end of the install portion of the installation wizard, the window just disappears. Nothing launches, nothing happens. From there I can go check my C:\Program Files\ folder and there is no iPod folder. The installation says it's putting one there, but it's not actually there. So, I went to apple.com and downloaded the latest iTunes software. I tried to install it, but I'm getting somewhat of the same error. It starts to install and the little blue installation bar moves all the way across the screen. As soon as it hits the end, I get an error number 0. The error says, "error connecting to service manager. error number 0."What's wrong, and, what can I do?
