Found on That One Developer Blog and it worked perfectly for me. share|improve this answer answered Aug 3 '09 at 2:37 Gabriel 1,2121119 1 For anyone arriving here looking for the same error with later versions of VS and with WPF, I found the same issue, which was only fixed after following this process, but NOT saving the file. –pm_2 Nov 13 '13 at 14:40 add a comment| up vote 14 down vote accepted Wouldn't you know it; just after I post this I find a workaround in Scott Hanselman's Blog, in the comments: 1) Right-click the designer file and select delete 2) Right-click the aspx file and select Convert to Web Application Thanks to Matthew, whomever you are. share|improve this answer edited May 21 '09 at 14:58 answered May 21 '09 at 12:47 sgwill 3,4
simply edit both the .aspx and .cs files and recompile. You don't have to change the files, you can just add and delete a character - enough to set the "changed" flag, and that should solve your problem. You should see some post on this soon. Thanks, Suma Sushilendra Wednesday, August 09, 2006 8:13 PM 0 Sign in to vote Any additional update/word on this? I'm seeing the same thing intermittently in VS.NET 2005 Team Edition for Devs. I should point out that the solution/project I'm seeing it with isn't a 2003 conversion. It does, however, use the MS Web Application Projects add-in for 2005.http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/reference/infrastructure/wap/default.aspx Thursday, August 24, 2006 8:48 PM 0 Sign in to vote Hi Jeff, Sorry, I could not get more information on this after trying for several times several routes.
