Hello, my name is Dan.I will do my best to help you, the only stupid question is the unasked one.Okay, there's a couple of things going on here.Did you change the volumes in iDVD or in the editing software for the movie? I mean such as iMovie? While in iDVD there is an item in the menu bar called Project, select Project info and see what it tells you. You will have information on how much information is being burned and how much room you have on your disk. If any of those are out of whack it will cancel. One thing that I find works some of the time is to quit iDVD, after saving the project, and re-opening it.If that fails then I will usually trash the plist. This resets iDVD but it does not do any damage to your projects.Open a finder window in column view, navigate to the preferences and locate the iDVD plist, drag it to the trash and open iDVD.You will need to expand the column to make it easier to find.Double-click those bars and it will expand to show you the entire name.Let me know how you make out.I also recommend making a disk image as opposed to burning discs, it will save you a lot of discs and the process is the same, you can then burn the dis
in 23.97 FPS in 50MB I captured the interviews into FCP edited them, and selected IDVD to burn the edited segment to DVD. Although I used a 16 X 9 aspect ratio template, it appears to have created the DVD in 4 X 3 aspect ratio. Is it not possible to create a 16 X 9 aspect ratio in IDVD? I checked all the photo's placed in the 16 X 9 theme template are jpeg files. I don't understand what I've done incorrecty? Any ideas? I've been caught out with this before because it throws up all sorts of errors without letting you know exactly what the problem is. Reply Quote Re: IDVD (November 07, 2010 05:59AM) Stevan Ken, During the process of attempting to burn a DVD via IDVD, I decided to empty the trash to potentially see if that might be a space issue and discovered that there are secured items in the trash (417 items) which will not erase. I tried to erase them. What must I do to erase secured files in the trash?
