I suggest you use Flask 0.594 instead. It's still better, overall, than the newer version of Flask (+ all the fixes). shrinkwrap, and everything was fine. At first... I wrote my program at home, under Win98 SE. Everything works fine. But then, I tried to run it here at the office, under NT4, and it just doesn't work here. I found out that the problem was the call to AVIFileOpen, which returns res= - 2147221164, instead of AVIERR_OK. Here is the code which causes problems: Call AVIFileInit txtavi.Visible = True 'this shouldn't be important, but i let it here, you never know... 'Open the AVI file for writing res = AVIFileOpen(pfile, strAviName, OF_WRITE Or OF_CREATE, 0&) As I said before res=-2147221164 Has anyone encountered such a problem before? Anyone know how to solve it? Thanks a lot Pat Top 1. Addressing Exception with AVIFileOpen This code snippet works fine for opening an AVI file in Win95, Win98, and (with CoInitialize) Win2K: function TModule.GetAVI (filename : string) : word; var filename : string; pavi:PAVIFile; begin.. openerror := AVIFIleOpen(pavi,Pchar(filename),OF_READ,nil); But in WinNT 4.0, it gets an addressing exception. Anybody have a clue? BTW, this is adapted from Toni Martir's sample code. Thanks, Elliott 2. 3dstudio processor fix 3.
