I am currently on the latest 8.0.0.917 (I think). I do have a ticket open, but thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone has had the same issue. I have also upgraded the tape library and drives to the latest versions - HP MSL 2024 G3 Series. The error on the inventory or catalog job looks like this:Code: Select all1/20/2015 4:13:29 PM Processing started at Tuesday, January 20, 2015 4:13:29 PM

Most values also have a default message defined, which can be used to map the value to a human-readable text message; when this is done, the Win32 error in backup error code is also known as a message identifier. The following table specifies the values and corresponding meanings of the Win32 error codes. Vendors SHOULD NOT assign other meanings to these values, to avoid the risk of a collision in the future. This document provides the common usage details of the Win32 error codes; individual protocol specifications provide expanded or modified definitions. and the MySQL services won't start. The error I get according to the event viewer is "InnoDB: File .\ib_logfile0: 'aio read' returned OS error 187. Cannot continue operation". Any thoughts on how to correct this?Re: Wamp Orange MySQL problem Posted by: RiggsFolly (---.as43234.net)Date: February 26, 2015 10:38AMI have seen a few of these reported recently, so I had a bit of a think and a good look around. The MySQL people decided to make INNODB the default database engine in MySQL 5.5.5Unfortunately the guys at AlterWay seem to have missed that fact and the my.ini file is still delivered with the INNODB parameter commented out like when MYISAM was the default database engine. Also the INNODB database engine though superior in many ways to MYISAM does require that the person using it actually understands it and how to ensure its continued smooth operation, backups/restores and recovery. So it is a little dangerous to deliver it in this way to a large part of their target audience i.e. total beginners.Anyway, to a solution :As you have just installed WAMPServer I suggest you UnInstall it, using the WIndows UninstallThen manually delete the \wamp folder and all its contents. Then reinstall it.Do not tick the "Start Now" option at the end of the install, just finish the installWith an editor, edit \wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.6.17\my.iniAdd this line, after the [wampmysqld] or [wampmysqld64] section heading [wampmysqld64] #My local changes default-storage-engine=MYISAMThen try and start WAMPServer again. This does not stop you using INNODB database, but it does mean you will have to specify that engine type on a CTEATE statement otherwise it shoudl use MYISAM.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Windows 7 Pro 32bit) (Wampserver 3.0.6RC2 32bit) - Apache 2.4.18 - PHP 5.6.15 - MySQL 5.7.10
