Open Daemon tools from a desktop shortcut or from the start menu or whatever. Note https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080726092907AAjEY7q that a window won't open, but there will be a red icon in your system tray at the bottom right. Right click the icon in the system tray. Mouse over "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM". Then mouse over Device 0, then click Mount Image. (If you don't have a Device 0, then mouse over Set Number of Drives, then select how many virtual drives you want). After you click Mount Image, search around for the image (the file in the torrent), then open that. If nothing happens once you've done that, go to Run... under the Start menu, hit browse, go to My Computer from the browsing menu, open the virtual drive you created, then select AutoRun or Setup and open it. Then hit OK. If you haven't downloaded the file through a bittorrent client, then I suggest you do that first. Error in command line Started by andy101 , May 05 2008 10:40 AM Please log in to reply #1 andy101 Posted 05 May 2008 - 10:40 AM andy101 New Member Member 5 posts I have recently downloaded Daemon tools. Since i've downloaded it all my desktop icons have change to be associated with this program. However since then I cannot run any programme at all. Every time I do I get an error message reading ' Error in command line'. I literally cannot do anything, everything I try to open up says this, including Daemon tools, media player, even internet explorer. ( I've had to come on a friends pc just to post this message). for some reason daemon tools is'nt showing up in the control panel, programmes and features, so i cant get rid of it there, as I'm assuming it's something to do with this programme. Whenever I go to the daemon tools uninstall, again i just get the error message. I cannot afford to wipe my drive as I have too many things on it that I need. Any help would be much appreciated cheers andy 0 Advertisements #2 Jacee Posted 05 May 2008 - 01:07 PM Jacee Malware Expert Expert 993 posts Can you get into safe mode to uninstall the program?
