I own about 500 CD's and about 2000 vinyl records so I'm not one to leech stolen material from the net. What I really am? Well I'm purist looking for ultimate quality of reproduction (yes.. even for in the car..). That was the reason for me to try EAC. I had so many problems with the program that I almost thrown it away. But it's little in my nature not to give up very easy so I went looking for all sorts of answers why do I get error reading .cue file that was generated by EAC itself during the extraction. I haven't found any easy "idiot proof" answers at all. Like, when you make program, it should be strait forward. Rip CD,

to FLAC. I'm trying to move away from my old WMP WAV format. I have about 40 CD's missing though, so I obviously can't rip those. They are all ripped in WMP WAV lossless format, multiple tracks/files and no Cue Sheets. When I tried converted them to FLAC with dBpoweramp, there is no MetaData or Album Art. I tried burning one of the albums to a CD with ImgBurn, so than I could rip to FLAC, but it results in having 1 single track of the entire album. Than I thought maybe an easier way would be to create an ISO image, mount it onto a virtual drive, than rip it to FLAC with dBpoweramp. But this attempt failed as well. Basically my question is, how can I convert WAV (originally ripped with WMP) to FLAC with dBpoweramp (MetaData + Album Art)? thejamesjr12-03-2011, 04:59 AMI figured out how to burn my WAV music onto a CD and rip with dBpoweramp! First I tried opening Cue Sheet *1 with EAC, but I was getting this error message "Error in cue sheet! File does not exist in line 7". ImgBurn was also giving me an error message "File does not exist! File name: 01 White Flag .wav". Afterwards I installed a program called CUETools. I dropped all the songs from the album into the program as instructed and in create Cue Sheet *2 and it worked! I was able to create a CD with ImgBurn from this cue sheet. All the MetaData showed up and I ripped from the CD to FLAC. Why does the Accuraterip results look like this though, usually it has numbers in it & all green? X AR (grey font) Check Mark (green font) Secure (black font) CRC Code (green font). Also, why didn't Cue Sheet *1 work, but *2 did?
