Error In Cue Sheet File Does Not Exist

New Member Thread Starter Location: UK Horwich I’m using EAC to archives my out of print CDs, for these I wish to have a CUE autoflac sheet so that any copy will be exact. I’ve not previously bothered with
Cuetools
a CUE sheet as I know sound wise it doesn’t make any difference. Ive set EAC per http://blowfish.be/eac/Setup/setup3.html#no3g and burrrn double checked all setting are correct. In file naming I’ve used %N - %T and placed the sheet in the folder along with the tracks (FLAC) and the M3U file. However when I attempt to load the CUE sheet in EAC I get a message like this each time, although the file and line number will be different. Error in CUE sheet File does not exist in line 4 The CUE sheet looks like this REM GENRE Reggae REM DISCID DA0A6610 REM COMMENT "ExactAudioCopy v0.99pb4" FILE "01 - Expo 67.wav" WAVE TRACK 01 AUDIO PREGAP 00:00:01 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "02 - You Don't Need Me.wav" WAVE TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 00 00:00:00 FILE "03 - I'll Get Along Without You.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 07:51:36 FILE "04 - Swing And Dine.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 05 AUDIO INDEX 00 04:48:00 FILE "05 - Come On Little Girl.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 06 AUDIO INDEX 00 01:39:37 FILE "06 - I'll Take You Where The Music's Playing.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 07 AUDIO INDEX 00 99:12:74 FILE "07 - Far Away Love.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 08 AUDIO INDEX 00 96:01:00 FILE "08 - Lonely Days (Take One).wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 09 AUDIO INDEX 00 92:54:37 FILE "09 - You Have Caught Me.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 10 AUDIO INDEX 00 80:04:00 FILE "10 - What More Can I Say.wav" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 I can’t work out what the problem is, can’t see why I’d need to edit the CUE as I’ve not set up a separate directory for CUE sheets. Any help will be much appreciate

I own about 500 CD's and about 2000 vinyl records so I'm not one to leech stolen material from the net. What I really am? Well I'm purist looking for ultimate quality of reproduction (yes.. even for in the car..). That was the reason for me to try EAC. I had so many problems with the program that I almost thrown it away. But it's little in my nature not to give up very easy so I went looking for all sorts of answers why do I get error reading .cue file that was generated by EAC itself during the extraction. I haven't found any easy "idiot proof" answers at all. Like, when you make program, it should be strait forward. Rip CD, tell program to make image of disk and burn it away. Every time I make copy and try to burn, I get "Error in CUE sheet! File does not exist in line 7" or some other line In first case, Line 7 was FILE "Step

another location, or renamed, or converted to MP3). You can fix the CUE sheet in notepad: remove all paths and correct the filenames. (For more info on CUE sheets, see the Appendix of this website.)
