My distro is a redhat 7.3 compatible, and i check all configurations snmpwalk Binary Path /usr/bin/snmpwalk snmpget Binary Path /usr/bin/snmpget rrdtool Binary Path /usr/bin/rrdtool what happened ? Under "Cacti Settings", make sure "cacti Web Root" and "Web Server Document Root" are correct. Cacti will combine these two fields to form its complete path, so make sure you are not including a trailing slash in either field. You can confirm if it is a path problem by going to "Data Queries", and choosing a query. You will either see a "XML File Exists" or "XML File Does Not Exist" message, the latter meaning that there is a path problem. -Ian Top calvin Post subject: Error in data queryPosted: Sat May 31, 2003 9:17 am Joined: Fri May 30, 2003 8:34 amPosts: 3Location: Curitiba - Brazil Ok, great I correct this problem and workinh now, but when I create a polling hosts, doesn't return any interfaces, I try test snmpwalk manually and working well, searching ins this forum all topics about this question, and dont find find a solution .... At monday i will see again, nice weekend for all, Top raX Post subject: Posted: Sat May 31, 2003 4:48 pm Lead Developer Joined: Sat Oct 13, 2001 7:00 pmPosts: 2237Location: Carlisle, PA If you execute "/usr/bin/snmpwalk", it should say whether you are using ucd or net-snmp. Make sure this is selected under "Cacti Settings". Again, make sure that the correct management ip, community string, and snmp version is entered for each polling host. -Ian Top calvin Post subject: Posted: Mon Jun 02, 2003 7:34 am Joined: Fri May 30, 2003 8:34 amPosts: 3Location: Curitiba - Brazil If you execute "/usr/bin/snmpwalk", it should say whether you are using ucd or net-snmp. Double check your "Web Server Document Root"and "Cacti Web Root" path settings. This means I have to copy "/opt/cacti/resources" to"/srv/www/htdocs/cacti" besides creating "/srv/www/htdocs/cacti/rra".Could you please mention this in the manual? Are there any other files/directories to be copied over? Or would it bebetter to move all files over to "/opt/cacti"?I've configured apache withAlias /cacti/ /opt/cacti/
