To try to make it happy, I've created a new domadmin.nsf database from the domadmin.ntf client -- but it's still not happy. I have a workaround for the problem which is called "IGNORE IT" but it's just annoying to get that big error prompt and beep when you fire up Admin. Any ideas? Googling reveals nothing on this. The new templates are stored in the new data-Folder or shared Directory, but your notes client uses a other data. OultonAug 27, 2013 4:03 PM42 PostsHas anyone else experienced this yet? Yes, I always keep my Notes data in d:\data\notes. I always keep my Notes data (indeed all my data) on a physically separate drive separate from the operating system, so that when Windows crashes and burns bad as it variably does from time to time over the years, I have that one more source of backup and security by having the data separate. R. KottkeSep 4, 2013 7:40 AM1 PostsDesign refresh Hi Randal, had the same problem. I've fixed it by refreshing the design of the local domadmin.nsf with a template vers.9. Unfortunately the current version of the domadmin.ntf is not copied automatically to the data-directory specified in the notes.ini, so you need to find the original installation path and then copy it to your data-directory. If a design refresh doesn't work, try a design replacement. Good luck, Simon
list; tombstone icon; refresh; server bookmark icon; new servers; domain; server list; refreshing Technote (FAQ) Question New Lotus Domino servers were added to the domain and they are fully accessible from the Lotus Notes client or when doing a File -> Open server http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/ndseforum.nsf/xpTopicThread.xsp?documentId=A591D5B3AD07129C85257B8E0055F846 in Domino Administrator. However, when you look in the Domino Administrator (admin client) under the tombstone or server bookmarks icon, the new servers do not display. Answer Use the following workarounds to display the new servers. 1. In Domino Administrator, from the Administration http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21159001 menu, choose Refresh Server List --> select Current Domain or All Domains. This refreshes the list and displays any new servers. 2. If Refresh Server List does not work, try rebuilding the view using the F9 key to refresh the view or CTRL+SHIFT+F9 to refresh all views. 3. Close Domino Administrator and delete or rename c:\lotus\notes\data\domadmin.nsf. Then restart Notes which will create a new .nsf database and build a new server list.
