The ram for the web browser works, and so does the rumble pack. It had always worked, but when I updated my firmware it didn't work anymore. I even tried new games and everything, but nothing works. Anyone know anything that can help? Thanks. Pedromman, Apr 29, 2008 Top #1 Member gizmo_gal QWEEN of the RadioActive Force!!! I cant tell you why exactly but that seems to be the case. I say just swap back down to your previous firmware and wait for some updates/fixes. Hope that helps. gizmo_gal, Apr 29, 2008 Top #2 Member Destructobot Crave the Hammer Joined: Oct 15, 2006 Messages: 5,005 Featured Posts: 0 Location: Portland, OR Country: NDStation has been broken on the R4 since version 1.13 or so of the R4 kernel. It also hasn't been updated to support the new 3-in-1 chipset. Destructobot, Apr 29, 2008 Top #3 Former Staff Another World Emulate the Planet! convert gba files to nds files to put on my r4ds well i think i need something more because when i try playing , screen comes black https://forum.romulation.net/threads/gba-roms-on-r4ds.24504/ and "Error in fat init" Stupormundi, Oct 5, 2009 #1 sirmione New Member https://groups.google.com/d/topic/microsoft.public.windowsce.platbuilder/afbNh6ERLqo Stupormundi said: I found a good program to convert gba files to nds files to put on my r4ds well i think i need something more because when i try playing , screen comes black and "Error in fat init"Click to expand... Maybe NDStation? But you need the EZ 3-in-1 or similar to run error in the converted games. sirmione, Oct 5, 2009 #2 Stupormundi New Member Yes, NDStation. Why can't i do it on my R4DS? Stupormundi, Oct 5, 2009 #3 Quake90 New Member Stupormundi said: Yes, NDStation. Why can't i do it on my R4DS?Click to expand... like sirmoine said you need a GBA expantion. or what he recalls, an "EZ 3-in-1" Gba roms need a certain kind of error in fat 'ram'. and the gba expantion gives that kind of ram so you can play GBA games you can NOT play GBA roms without something like that. Quake90, Oct 5, 2009 #4 Stupormundi New Member And can't I add a kind of gba-ram? Stupormundi, Oct 5, 2009 #5 Loonylion Administrator Staff Member no, only with a slot 2 cart Loonylion, Oct 5, 2009 #6 daniel17 New Member or an iplayer cart, there is now a gba emulator that uses the iplayers extra hardware(ram) to run gba games in slot 1 daniel17, Oct 5, 2009 #7 TirithRR New Member But the iplayer cannot play NDS games, since it's not really a flashcart, it's more of a media playing device. TirithRR, Oct 5, 2009 #8 Quake90 New Member so as a conclusion, you have to buy an expansion pack for the slot 2, to make GBA work for your DS good luck.
