The cart shipped with a 2 gig SD card and had all the necessary files minus the roms. I added my roms and when I turn it on I get a message saying "Fat Initialization Error". Is there a problem with my SD card? Should I try contacting Stone Age Gamer and see if they will give me a new one? Otherwise, how do you have the roms orginized? Are your roms names really large? Did you name your SD card? What kind of NES are you using? Use this thread for some info on the setup of the sd card http://krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=1611.15 « Last Edit: June 01, 2014, 05:18 am by Paulweeze » Logged Everdrives I own: ED64, Mega Everdrive, EDGB, EDGG, N8, Master EverdriveOther Flashcarts: SD2SNES Clutz450 Newbie Posts: 2 Karma: +0/-0 Re: Fat Initialization Error. « Reply #2 on: June 01, 2014, 10:24 pm » The SD card wasn't named. I read the manual where it said each directory could only have 256 files so I have my roms divided up into lettered folders. Rom file names are named per the No-Intro NES Romset. I noticed that the error I was getting was Fat Initialization Error and on my PC the SD card was saying that is was formatted into exFAT. So I backed up my SD card and did a quick format to FAT32 and it now seems to be working. So is FAT32 the appropriate format the SD card was supposed to be in? Can you think of any reason why Stone Age Gamer would have formatted it to exFAT? Thank
