Request cancelled by the user when printing Crystal Report P: n/a Edward For reporting purposes I use Crystal Reports. The user can select a printer from a dropdownlist. I set the printer with: PrintOptions.PrinterName = @"\\SERVERNAME\" + lstPrinter.SelectedValue.Trim(); and use PrintToPrinter(1, false, 0, 0); to print. Now I get the message: Error in File C:\DOCUME~1\ASPNET\LOCALS~1\Temp\temp_f3d3ec6c-c2d9-47fc-90e5-b321c0f18873.rpt: Request cancelled by the user. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.InternalExc eption: Error in File C:\DOCUME~1\ASPNET\LOCALS~1\Temp\temp_f3d3ec6c-c2d9-47fc-90e5-b321c0f18873.rpt: Request cancelled by the user The report self is correct, an export to PDF instead of printing works. Please help. Printing on my developping machine is no problem, https://bytes.com/topic/asp-net/answers/319539-request-cancelled-user-when-printing-crystal-report printing on my test machine results in a "Request Cancelled by the User" error. But when i print to a printerdriver which writes to disk (printerport = file or Win2PDF-driver) the print is printed to disk. So i dont think the coding is incorrect. I've searched the KB base of Crystal, found no suitable answer over there. Has anyone http://forums.asp.net/t/339142.aspx?Request+Cancelled+By+User seen this problem and has the solution. ?? BTW it concerns a Winforms App; FrameWork 1.1; VS2003 Target machine NT4/SP6 TIA, Paaul@home Reply james.clepha... I had exactly the same problem with a network printer that was set as the default for a PC using my Crystal Report code. In the end the problem turned out to be that the printer name had been setup wrong when it was installed to that PC. I changed this and it now works fine. ‹ Previous Thread|Next Thread › This site is managed for Microsoft by Neudesic, LLC. | © 2016 Microsoft. All rights reserved.
