Some of the reports work just fine in the new enviroment. But one of the reports does give me a hard time. It is a little complicated, so please bare with me. The report uses a c# derived DataSet class as its Database Fields source. It also uses a DataTable as its data source. When I try to bind the report with the data source, for example, myReport.setDataSource(myDataTable);. It throws the following exception: CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.InternalExc eption was unhandled by user code Message="\rError in File C:\\WINDOWS\\TE

The debugger shows all my code running without error until attempting to actually http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19545495/invalid-object-format-name-in-crystal-reports load the report. At that point, it will run the first couple without problem, then it fails when messing with a field object, and none of the rest will run. The code is shown below. Everything that generates an error is a FieldObject, but not all fieldObjects generate errors. In the code below, everything in Section2 is a TextObject and everything in Section3 is a FieldObject. The maximum size for this record is 64K. That means that Crystal Reports can track approximately a maximum of 32,000 objects on a report. 'Objects' includes fields, tables, graphs, text boxes, lines, boxes, and pictures. The causes for exceeding the TSLV record limit are: Having too many objects in a report. Let's say you have a very complex report pushing the limit (the report doesn't even have to be complex, it can just have a couple of really large tables with hundreds of fields in each). Then you modify this report and add another table or text field. This pushes the report over the 64K limit. However, you won't receive a TSLV error message at this point; in fact, Crystal Reports allows you to keep adding objects and saving changes to your report. It is once you've closed the report, then tried to re-open it that you receive the error message. Unfortunately, once you receive the TSLV error message, it can't be opened. Â The report has been edited many times. To determine the number of revisions: On the File menu, click 'Summary Info' and open the Statistics tab. Â The Statistics tab displays the number of revisions. R
