Error loading data? Post Reply Author Message Brandon Collins Elite SysAider 111 Error loading data? Jan. 07, 2010 12:53 PM Hey there. Still trying to get our heads around all the ins and outs of sysaid. We are in pre-deployment, and my manager has discovered a funkey bug, so I thought I would display it here and see if anybody had any ideas? When looking at the dashboard, with 4 dashboard objects, we commonly get a missing graph with the error "Error in loading data". If you refresh the browser, one quadrant will work, but 1 https://community.websense.com/forums/t/9052.aspx or 2 others will then display the error. It jumps around the 4 quadrants at random, but we almost never have all 4 working at a time. Screenshot attached. -Brandon SysAid#1 SysAid Mod 716 Error loading data? Have you tried FireFox?? itayH SysAid Customer Relations 1092 Re:Error loading data? Jan. 11, 2010 03:59 PM Hi Brandon Collins, Please try this with Firefox or chrome and let us know. Jan. 11, 2010 04:16 PM Just installed the latest firefox, and it appears to behave identically there as well. Sometimes we get "error in loading data"... and sometimes the graphs are there, but are empty (i.e. the flash file is working, but there is zero data). We run MS SQL if that helps. -Brandon This message was edited 1 time. Last update was at Jan. 11, 2010 04:20 PM techguy SysAid Wiz 1767 Re:Error loading data? Jan. 12, 2010 07:52 AM this issue has been discussed here before:- https://www.sysaid.com/Sysforums/posts/list/1673.page#7901 It has existed since v6 and can be related to tomcat version in some cases, or in our case it is related to running MS SQL and happens with any browser. By Bill OliverJanuary 2, 2014 9:00 AM - Source: Toms IT Pro Tags : Windows Hacking Security The error data being sent http://www.tomsitpro.com/articles/microsoft-watson-error-report-hackers-websense,1-1520.html by Windows personal computers could be a way into the corporate network for hackers, according to Websense Security Labs. The crash reporting technology built into the Windows operating system was introduced over a decade ago with the launch of Windows XP and may be sending data without user's knowledge or permission. In a recent blog post, the computer and internet security company which investigates computer-based security risks that occur in commonly used applications and services, identified error in Windows Error Reporting (a.k.a. "Watson") as a way for hackers and other snoopers to gain valuable insight into possible vulnerabilities lurking in your PC. The report stated that error logs, which may be created automatically for some applications, might be sent to Microsoft without prompting the user. Since the error logs are created based on an application or operating system "crash", the logs can be analyzed by attackers to identify what caused the error and exploit the error in loading weakness of the application that caused the crash or a flaw in a subsequent bug fix. The same information requested and used by Microsoft and other application developers to try to figure out why an application did not work as expected is the same information that a potential attacker would use to figure out how to exploit a system. Each application can perform differently or have different problems based on the version of the operating system, Service Pack level, and update version the application is running on. That information is collected by Watson and forwarded to Microsoft when Windows Error Reporting is triggered. In most situations, the error information is sent once a user agrees that it wants the data sent; in other cases, it may happen behind the scenes. The number of networked PCs that could be phoning home is estimated at more than one billion. According to the report, not only is the information related to the OS and application but also includes common system events, such as plugging in a USB device, failed application updates, and TCP Timeouts between computers on a network. Much of this information is sent in HTTP clear text although, according to Microsoft, "all data that could include personally identifiable information is encrypted (HTTPS) during transmission. The 'crash signature,' which includes such information as the application name and version, modu
