Error In Loading Dll Excel 2013
Posts Thread Starter New Member Join Date Mar 2008 Posts 7 [RESOLVED] "Error in loading DLL" msg when trying to set an Excel.Worksheet object I'm using VB6 SP6 and am working on an old project that used to work just fine. After digging it out of the archives and loading the project onto an XP machine it is now running into problems. In the code I am trying to set an Excel.Worksheet object variable error in loading dll access 2010 to the sheet object of an Excel.Workbook. Here's an example of the source code... Dim objSht2 As Excel.Worksheet Set objSht2 = objWkb.Worksheets(2) The above error message gets generated upon execution of the second line where I attempt to set the worksheet object. I am using OfficeXP and reference the "Microsoft Excel 10.0 Object Library" in the VB project. I know this is kind of obscure but does anyone have any ideas where I can start looking to try to track this error down? Thanks! Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next dim all variables as required as often i have done so

Solved Error in loading DLL Posted on 2004-11-17 Visual Basic Classic 1 Verified Solution 18 Comments 743 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-25 I have a VB script within Excel that references Microsoft Outlook 9.0 Object error in Library Located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSOUTL9.OLB. When I run the script and hit the statement: Set ojbOL = New Outlook.Application I get a runtime error 48 that says "Error in Loading DLL". There is nothing wrong with the code as I have run this script several times in the past and it worked just fine. Moreover, I can run the script without any problems on other computers. There have error in loading been no updates or new installations on this computer. The only change that had been made was the file "Msoutl.olb" was copied into the same directory as the msoutl9.olb. I have tried to re-install Outlook and Excel but it has not resulted in any progress. I have also tried copying over the dll's from other computers where the script will run but I still get the same error. Isn't this the same thing: dim objOL as New Outlook.Application set objOL = New Outlook.Application Anyway... I tried to change it but I still get the same error. Again, this code is working fine on other computers. It is definitely installed and exists under "Programs and Features". Does anyone have a list of things that I can check to figure out what is going on? I have now tried to register the DLL using regsvr32.exe /i bob.dll as suggested but I get this error: The Module "Bob.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "Bob.dll" is valid DLL or OCX file and then try again. I should note that this is a 32-bit application on a 64-bit machine at this point. It also works fine on my machine which is Windows XP 32-bit. dll vbscript activex windows-server-2008 dllregistration share|improve this question edited Oct 19 '12 at 12:43 bluish 9,4041269126 asked Mar 18 '09 at 4:09 GordyII 2,439123662 A quickie... Run RegAsm.exe to register the DLLs. Run the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe to run my VBScript. Thanks for all your help. ALSO if these don't work, check out the other answer here about enabling 32-bit applications. share|improve this answer edited Oct 12 '13 at 14:28 Ofer Zelig 11.3k43569 answered Mar 18 '09 at 21:00 GordyII 2,439123662 2 Thank you for this one! –Jeroen Landheer May 25 '09 at 22:39 3 Nice save!
