The resulting integer would take up several Gigabytes of memory and take a long time to compute – and be pretty much useless for virtually all applications. So the symbolic engine flat out refuses to start computing it.>> sym(23)^(2^42) Error using symengine (line 58) The integer is too

I am not sure what is wrong with it. It gives me this error for the line: Area=eval(int(exp(-alpha*(t-tau))*e_array(i,:),tau,0,t)); I will really appreciate it of someone tell me how to fix it. ??? Haidar Posted by gokul krishnan ●December 15, 2005  Hello,           I have modified the code and now its working. In your definiton r is a row vector. So square the elements of r first and then apply the division with the constant factor (val1) as shown below.I have plotted it from 15 to 100cm insteps of 5cm.The modified code is given below,   pv = .3;  Er = 2.7; Eo = 8.85*10^(-12);  Q3 = pv*(4/3)*pi*(.013)^3; %R > 13   r:5:100; val=r.^2;   val1=Q3/(4*pi*Er*Eo); E3 = val1./val;  plot(r,E3)  bye gokul ----- Original Message ----- From: heidar mhr To: semsem771 ; m...@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, December 14, 2005 12:51 AM Subject: [matlab] Matrix dimension error! Order Linear Coupled DE Matrix Form Edit Posted: July 19 2013 by jschulzb 145 Product: Maple 0 Hi, I have a set of first order, linear ODE's in matrix form, I was able to solve them with matrixDE for 4 equations (which were uncoupled), but I would like to up this to around 132+ equations if possible. When I tried 9 equations I got Error, (in collect/series) integer too large in context on my laptop and on my other computer it was very slow and I didn't wait for a solution. Should I try a numerical solution (does matrixDE even have a numerical method?)? or is this problem more suited to Matlab? Here's the file, if you uncomment L:=1 and C:=... it works, if L:=2, it doesnt coupledDEs.mw differential_equation + Manage Tags Short words that describe your content. Used to categorize content.
